Annual Conference 2026 “The PET Value Chain vs. Full Circularity, in partnership with ICIS”

PETCORE EUROPE launched a call for Papers on Innovation to populate the Innovation Session within its ANNUAL CONFERENCE 2026: “The PET Value Chain vs. Full Circularity, in partnership with ICIS”.

During this two-days event we will host a session allowing members and non-members to present their innovative projects. The objective of this initiative is to highlight initiatives which will facilitate implementation of PET circularity and make our industry more responsive to Regulatory and Market changes and challenges.

The submitted innovation papers include the following topics:

  • Innovation in relation with Artificial Intelligence (AI) applicable to PET value chain
  • Innovations in relation to traceability of recycled content
  • Innovations in relation to recycled plastics quality improvement and analysis
  • Innovations in relation with collection methodologies
  • Innovations in relation with recycled material processing
  • Innovations in relation to depolymerization
  • Any other topic that strives to improve PET Circularity

 Practical Information

  • The Call for Innovation Papers is open to all participants.
  • Please submit a summary of max. 10 lines (including contact details) to support the selection process.
  • The selected innovations will be confirmed by 15 November 2025 and invited to present during the PETCORE EUROPE Annual Conference 2026.
During last 2 months we have received a large number of well-grounded papers from various members and non-members that increased the difficulty of choosing only the 5 that are invited to present their innovation projects.
Here are the selected papers:
  • “Traceability Solutions for Recycled Content – The Inclusive Digital Chain of Custody Platform” by ASM Global
  • “Avient’s ColorMatrix™ Amosorb™ Oxyloop-1” by Avient
  • “Influence of PET Color During Extrusion and the Contribution of Optical Technologies” by Eagle Vizion
  • “CircStab®” by Holland Colours
  • “Closing the loop on high-temperature food packaging: how Akestra™ expands PET circularity” by Perstorp

Additionally, PETCORE EUROPE has scheduled for the 16th of April 2026 at 1:00 PM CET, an online webinar dedicated to innovation projects, where all the presenters, whose projects were not selected earlier, will be invited to participate & present their innovation papers. 

We would encourage all the companies & organizations who were not selected to get back to us to confirm their participation in this webinar by the 15th of December 2025 & provide the following info:

  • Full name & mail of the speaker
  • Final title of the presentation

How to enter the event

 

  1. Click on the link that will be sent on the day of the conference

  2. It is recommended that you use Chrome web browser.

  3. Select an attendee ticket and click “join event”.

  4. You will be redirected to a sign-up page. Please create an account with the email address you have registered with and click sign-up. If you already have a Hopin account, please log in with your details.

  5. You have now entered the conference. On the left side of your screen, you will see different tabs:

Reception

is where you can find all the information about the conference (agenda, bio of speakers, schedule with timings etc.)

Stage

is where the main speeches and the panel discussion will happen.

Networking

for a better connection, we recommend you close any video call softwares of websites. During the breaks, you have the possibility to connect with other participants. You can do so in two ways:

Click on the Networking tab and you will be connected automatically with a fellow event participant who also wants to network.

Look for the person you want to connect with on the attendee list (this list can be found by clicking on "people" on the right side of your screen) click on the name of the person you would like to talk to and invite him/her for a video call.

How to ask a question to the panelists

Write your question on the event chat, the moderator will have it in front of her/him and will pick relevant questions to ask the speakers.
